Designed as a set
Most frame bags are designed as universal boxes and then strapped onto whatever frame they land on. We did it the other way round: the top tube bag and frame bag were drawn around the Eryx so that the top tube bag sits behind the stem without hitting your knees, and the frame bag fills the front of the triangle without blocking either bottle cage.
The result is a low, aero shape that adds almost nothing to frontal area but carries everything you need for a long day — phone, food, tools, a layer — out of your pockets.
What goes where
The top tube bag is for what you reach for while riding: phone, gels, bars, a multitool. The frame bag takes the heavier, bulkier things you need once or twice a day: a spare tube, pump or CO2, a wind layer, gloves, a battery. Keeping weight low and central in the frame keeps the handling calm on rough descents.
Fit on other frames
The straps are long enough for most gravel frames with a straight or slightly sloping top tube, and the frame bag's half-frame profile leaves room for bottles on most medium and large frames. If you are unsure, write to kontakt@tinden.cc with your frame model and size.
Frequently asked questions
Does the frame bag block the bottle cages?
Not on the Eryx — it is cut so both bottle cages stay usable. On other frames it depends on frame size; most medium and large frames keep both bottles.
Are the bags waterproof?
They are water-resistant with a coated fabric and water-resistant zips. They keep rain and spray out on a normal ride, but are not sealed for submersion.
Do the bags come with the Eryx?
Yes. The aero top tube bag and the frame bag are included with every Eryx frameset. They are also sold separately.
Will the bags fit my current gravel bike?
Most gravel frames with a straight or slightly sloping top tube, yes. Send your frame model and size to kontakt@tinden.cc and we will confirm.
