What is Drop 01, and how does the Tinden waitlist work?
Drop 01 is Tinden's first release, in spring 2027: the Eryx carbon gravel frameset, the Tinden frame bag set and the merino long-sleeve jersey, in a limited run. The waitlist is free, carries no obligation, and gives you early access and founders' pre-order pricing before the public launch. Prices and sizes are announced to the waitlist first.
Why drops instead of seasons
Most bike brands release a catalogue every year and discount what did not sell. We release small, numbered drops instead: a few products, developed and tested until they are right, made in a limited run. It means each product gets the time it needs, we never hold a warehouse of last year's stock, and you know exactly what you are buying and when.
What is in Drop 01
Three products. The Eryx carbon gravel frameset, which ships complete with integrated handlebar, seatpost, axles, headset and the frame bag set, in three colourways. The Tinden aero top tube bag and frame bag, also sold separately. And the Tinden Merino long-sleeve jersey in 93% Italian merino. Eryx is also offered as a complete bike in three builds, and through the transfer-build service for riders who already own a groupset and wheels.
How the waitlist works
You leave your name, email, country and what you are interested in. That is it — no deposit, no obligation. Before the public launch, people on the waitlist get the prices and sizes first, a window to pre-order at founders' pricing, and first choice of colourway. If the limited run sells out in the waitlist window, the public launch is smaller or does not happen.
What happens between now and spring 2027
The layup and geometry are locked after a season of testing, and production is being prepared. Over the winter we keep riding the prototypes in the Hemsedal snow and sort the last details — bar tape, tool kit, packaging. Waitlist members get updates when something is worth telling; we do not send weekly newsletters.
Pre-order, deposits and delivery
Pre-orders open to the waitlist before launch with a deposit; the balance is paid before shipping. We ship to Norway and Europe at launch — join the waitlist and tell us where you are, and we will confirm shipping to your country. Framesets ship from Hemsedal; complete bikes and transfer builds are assembled and checked here before they go out.
